I have worked for a long time in light water reactor technologies; operations, research, performance evaluations, and maintenance under appointments with the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC), EXXON Nuclear (now AREVA), the INL, and the United States Navy. Most recently I have been working with the SoTeRiA lab group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where we have investigated probabilistic risk assessment as described by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Another fun activity has been editing the ASME SERAD group's newsletter. My editorial column is called WearOut and I have created a few columns for that.
Activities include the ASME SERAD, SoTeRiA lab at Illinois, Response to Hydrogen Webinar, and the Organization for Public Awareness of Hazardous Technology Risks
